About Lauren

Lauren is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a deep commitment to helping individuals find healing, renewal, and transformation through both faith-based guidance and evidence-based therapy. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University-Commerce and her Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas Tech University, equipping her with both clinical expertise and a compassionate, relational approach to therapy.

Lauren believes that healing begins when we allow God to meet us in our struggles and invite Him into our journey of growth, resilience, and restoration. She is passionate about encouraging and empowering clients to step into the abundant life God has for them by working through challenges such as anxiety, depression, communication struggles, parenting, relationships, boundaries, adjustment issues, grief, and self-esteem. She integrates biblical truth with psychological tools to help clients develop emotional resilience, spiritual clarity, and healthier relationships.

With over a decade of experience in elementary, middle, and high schools, Lauren has a unique understanding of the adolescent experience in today’s culture. She is particularly passionate about walking alongside young people and their parents, helping them navigate challenges with wisdom, grace, and practical skills. She provides a safe, compassionate space where clients of all ages can explore their emotions, process life’s difficulties, and develop God-honoring coping strategies for everyday stressors.

Lauren takes an integrative approach to counseling, utilizing cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and person-centered techniques, all through the lens of a Christ-centered perspective. She believes that true healing comes when we align our minds and hearts with God’s truth, and she partners with her clients to help them find hope, peace, and renewed purpose in their lives.
